How do we shape the future of live Sport broadcasting? TNO tells us @SXSW

Technology is changing the sports industry rapidly. Dutch research institute TNO has developed a number of leading technologies which will change the way we watch sports. Get a sneak peak at the New Dutch Wave House at SXSW.

The market for sports and media is set to grow exponentially in years to come. Consumers want to follow their favorite sports on any device. The use of affordable high quality camera’s and communications hardware in combination with advanced video technology create the unprecedented opportunity for amateur clubs, colleges and others to live stream games, as well as stream unique highlights to local trainers and fans in real-time.

TNO has developed a number of leading and disruptive technologies which will become accessible in the years to come to millions of consumers. TNO’s Paul Valk and Paul van den Haak will demonstrate Sports Studio Automated and Virtual Director on a live soccer field at the New Dutch Wave house. These new technologies are based on more than 50 years of research in intelligent imaging algorithms.

Come to the New Dutch Wave House on Monday March 13 to hear and see these technologies yourself. The session starts at 2pm and ends on the soccerfield with drinks.
