Angry Bytes is one of the speakers of the spectacular arena experiences session in the New Dutch Wave House. Here some state of the art technologies will be demonstrated to create enriched and immersive fan experiences.
With live linear television in decline and an increasing demand of consumers to make content shareable and interactive, the demand arises for new different kinds of experiences on TV. Consumers want more personalized television, across more platforms. Approaching television from the consumer, makes way for new applications such as Play Now!, currently used by almost all Dutch broadcaster to enhance their TV format and transform viewers into contestants, voters and contributions of television shows.
Play Now!, is a ready to use platform to build, configure, manage and run your multi screen application, while using the latest in real time technology and massive multiplayer dynamics. Play Now! can be played by all visitors providing a fun interactive way for guests in the New Dutch Wave house to participate by voting and contributing to the game.

Marc Veuger is the CTO of Angry Bytes. In this role he’s the creative mind behind the products of Angry Bytes: ABC Manager and Play Now! Marc obtained a degree in Computer Science in 1995. Before founding Angry Bytes in 2000, Marc worked for Philips, WPP and Radio 538.
