Dutch Media Innovators at NAB2018

Dutch Media Innovators and its partners had a great presence at NAB 2018. In total this year more than 100.000 visited Las Vegas for the National Association of Broadcasters show with over 160 countries represented.

DMI kicked off NAB on Sunday night April 8th  for an event with industry peers at Nobu Hotel at Caesars Palace. We partnered up with DMI member 24i Media who was hosting the event, alongside Cleeng, Fincons Group, Ex Machina and Mobile Viewpoint.

At NAB, 24i Media showcased its technology innovations and gave hundreds of wide-ranging demos of its turnkey internet products and experience services powered by 24i. You can learn more about its products here. 24I MEDIA’s CEO Martijn van Horssen held a presentation on Maximizing the Value of Content across all platforms as well and was part of the CMIP Debate on How to build a compelling user experience.

TNO powered one of Mobile Viewpoint’s newest products, the IQ Sports Producer Platform, an automated live sports production and streaming solution in one box.

The IP Sports Producer makes live and on-demand web broadcasting available without the hassle of setting up multiple cameras and hiring a camera crew. IQ Sports provides an automated video broadcast production with a one 180 degrees camera installation. A pan and zoomed image is automatically created by special developed game tracking technology. With extra features such as live streaming, game replay generator, commentary and scoreboard option the IQ Sports Producer enable clubs to capture, stream and re-publish their field games easy and cost effective. DMI member AngryBytes in the US partners with Ex Machina who was represented with a booth at NAB2018. Ex Machina develops interactive solutions for TV and live video. Ex Machina CEO Jeroen Elfferich was part of a SPROCKIT panel at NAB on how consumer video experiences will look like in the near future and what technology is powering it. VP Americas Geert Faber hosted a panel on Wednesday, April 11 on how to create new opportunities with low latency live streaming.
